Our trees
Here is a little about our Moringa trees that we grow here on the homestead.
First a little disclaimer that we have nothing against any imported seeds, or people that import them, but just that we don't see any point in trying to improve a product that is already adapted to our climate since first brought here back in the 70s or early 80s and produce some amazing products!
This is the reason we only started by growing locally sourced seeds and now grow our own from our healthy trees.

Moringa Nursery
Our Moringa nursery is set up for retail as well as our own use as we expand.
With much trial and error, we have found that the best way to grow our trees is by planting the seed in pots and letting them toughen up for a couple of months, before transplanting them into the ground, as we found we had many losses planting the seeds directly, whereas in pots they were protected and got equal amounts of water and fertilizer.
We are also trialling 20gallon planter bags, to see how they go in areas not suitable for planting in the ground.

Outback Outlook
Only time will tell how our trees go in the next few years, the weather can be harsh, both hot and cold, and the storms can just about blow your socks off, not to mention floods etc.
But like the other moringa growers all over the world, we expect mother nature to be a little rough in the tropics, especially with the odd cyclone/hurricane!
